The Retay RXP22 is a 22 LR pistol with a DA/SA trigger and a 13 round magazine, finished in blue. The first shot comes on a long double action pull and every shot after it breaks single action, which is the same manual of arms as a traditional service pistol — learned here on rimfire ammunition instead of centerfire.
A rimfire pistol earns its keep in volume. Recoil is light enough that a new shooter can work on grip and trigger control without flinching, and 13 rounds in the magazine means fewer pauses to reload during a drill. The blue finish is a departure from the standard black and makes the gun easy to find in a range bag.
