Retay RA1522 22 LR 25rd M-LOK Rifle

The RA1522 is Retay's rimfire take on the modern rifle layout, with a Picatinny topped polymer receiver, an adjustable stock and a magazine that holds 25 rounds. It feeds 22 Long Rifle rather than centerfire ammunition, which makes it a training gun for people who already own a full size rifle and a first rifle for people who do not.

The barrel is deep bore drilled and wears a black chrome finish for corrosion resistance, and the muzzle is threaded 1/2x28 so a rimfire suppressor or muzzle device goes straight on. This version runs a polymer M-LOK forend, so lights, bipods and sling mounts attach directly to the handguard without adapter rails hanging off it. Sights are flip up front and rear, which keeps the top rail clear for an optic while still leaving irons on the gun. The receiver is black polymer with a Picatinny rail across the top, the stock is adjustable, and there is a thumb safety. Listed weight is 4.74 pounds, light enough that new shooters can hold it steady offhand.
