Retay KOTA STK-101 Tactical 12 GA 6rd Shotgun

The KOTA STK-101 Tactical is Retay's take on the fighting pump gun. It is a 12 gauge pump action fed by a 6 round magazine, with a fiber optic front sight up top so the front bead picks up fast in low light or against a dark backdrop. Pump guns earn their keep in this role because the action does not care what you feed it. The shooter cycles the gun, not a gas system, so light target loads and heavy buckshot run exactly the same way.

Controls sit where anyone who has handled a pump gun will expect them. The fiber optic front is the detail worth calling out: it gathers ambient light and glows, which beats a plain brass bead when the shot has to happen in a hurry. Everything else here is deliberately plain. There is no gas system to scrub, no adjustment to get wrong, and no ammunition sensitivity to work around. You load it, you run the forend, and it goes. For a house gun, a truck gun, or somebody's first 12 gauge, that formula has held up for a century, and the STK-101 Tactical does not try to reinvent it.
