Retay ACE-R Paloma 12 GA 30" 3rd Shotgun

This is the 30" ACE-R, the longest barrel Retay offers in the Paloma line and the one aimed squarely at trap, sporting clays and decoying birds at distance. The long barrel gives real swing weight, and the AIRY recoil pad on the back end takes up to 30 percent off the felt recoil, so a long day of heavy loads stays tolerable rather than punishing.

The bolt is Retay's Inertia Plus design with a rollover torsion spring that drives the bolt head into battery rather than letting inertia do the job alone. That addresses the failure mode inertia shotguns are known for while keeping the benefits: no gas system, less to clean, and less weight hanging in the middle of the gun. The barrel is deep bore drilled with a factory lengthened forcing cone, extended chokes come with it, and a single fiber optic bead sits on the rib. Controls include an oversized reversible safety and a push button trigger group. The magazine holds 3 with a 3" chamber, weight is about 7.2 pounds, and a shim kit sets drop and cast before the gun is ever patterned. Extra Black synthetic furniture finishes it off.
