Retay ACE-R 12 GA 28" 3rd Gamekeeper Shotgun

Twenty eight inches is the length most 12 gauge shooters end up on. It keeps a swing moving through a crossing bird, it puts a little more weight forward to steady the muzzle, and it gives the rib enough length to be worth sighting along. This ACE-R pairs that barrel with a 3.5" chamber and the Gamekeeper finish.

The action is the same Inertia Plus rotating bolt Retay uses across the line, cycling on recoil with a rollover torsion spring and no gas system feeding fouling back into the receiver. The receiver itself is built without plastic parts. The barrel is deep bore drilled and straight, with a forcing cone lengthened at the factory so the shot column is not abused on its way into the bore, and six extended tubes are included, cylinder through full plus a waterfowl long range tube. Retay's easy out magazine system empties the tube without cycling live shells through the action. The AIRY pad cuts felt recoil by around 30 percent, which matters on a gun that will digest 3.5" loads. Shims in the box tune drop and cast around a 14.5" pull, the safety button reverses for left hand shooters, and the trigger group is push button removable. Magazine capacity is 3 rounds.
