Retay ACE-R 12 GA 28" 3rd Bronze Mossy Oak Bottomland Shotgun

The forcing cone is where a lot of shotgun performance is won or lost. Retay lengthens it at the factory on the ACE-R, easing the shot column out of the hull instead of squeezing it hard into the bore, and the result shows up as fewer deformed pellets and more even patterns downrange. The barrel itself is deep bore drilled and dead straight, 28" of it here, which is the length most waterfowlers settle on once they stop chasing extremes.

Behind the barrel sits an inertia action - the Inertia Plus rotating bolt with a rollover torsion spring - and a receiver built without plastic parts. A 3.5" chamber means goose loads are on the menu, and the AIRY recoil pad takes roughly a third of the felt recoil back out. Bronze Cerakote covers the metal, Mossy Oak Bottomland covers the furniture, and the 12 gauge receiver is drilled and tapped for a rail. Six extended chokes come with the gun, cylinder through full plus a waterfowl long range tube. Length of pull is 14.5" with a shim kit, the oversized safety button reverses for left hand shooters, the trigger group drops out at the push of a button, and Retay's easy out system unloads the magazine without cycling shells. Capacity is 3 rounds.
