Retay ACE-R 12 GA 26" 3rd Gamekeeper Shotgun

The ACE-R in the Gamekeeper finish is a 12 gauge built around Retay's Straight Line Inertial Transfer System, with a 3.5" chamber that leaves room for heavy waterfowl and turkey loads. The 26" barrel is the handier of the two lengths Retay offers here, which counts for something in a blind or a ground seat where a longer tube is always finding a wall to knock against.

Inside, the Inertia Plus rotating bolt cycles on recoil using a rollover torsion spring rather than the plunger spring older inertia guns used, and the receiver is built with no plastic parts. Nothing is tapped off the barrel, so the action stays clean through a long wet season. The barrel is deep bore drilled and dead straight with a forcing cone lengthened at the factory, and the choke set runs cylinder, improved cylinder, modified, improved modified, full and a waterfowl long range tube. The AIRY recoil pad takes roughly a third of the felt recoil back out of heavy loads. The 14.5" pull can be shimmed for drop and cast, the oversized safety button reverses to the left side, one button frees the trigger group, and the magazine holds three rounds.
