Retay ACE 12 GA 28" 3rd Mossy Oak Bottomland Shotgun

This is the ACE wearing Mossy Oak Bottomland everywhere - barrel, receiver, stock and forend - rather than the bronze and camo two tone. Bottomland is a bark and mud pattern with almost no green in it, which is why it keeps showing up on timber guns and early season turkey guns decades after it was first printed. The vent rib barrel is deep bore drilled with a forcing cone lengthened at the factory, and the 12 gauge receiver is drilled and tapped if you want to add a rail and a red dot.

The action is inertia driven. Retay's Inertia Plus system uses a rotating bolt and a rollover torsion spring, backed by a stainless recoil buffer spring, and it handles the full range from light target loads up to 3.5" magnums. The safety button reverses so left hand shooters are not an afterthought, the trigger group comes out with a push button, and the loading port is opened up to make feeding easier with gloves on. Length of pull is 14.5" and a shim kit comes in the box so drop and cast can be tuned. The AIRY pad takes roughly a third of the felt recoil off the top. The magazine holds three rounds and a single fiber optic bead sits on the rib.
