Retay claims the AIRY pad cuts felt recoil by about 30 percent, and on a 3.5" 12 gauge that is not a marketing throwaway - it is the difference between finishing a goose hunt and flinching through the last hour of it. The pad works alongside the inertia action, which already sends less of the impulse straight back into your shoulder than a fixed breech gun would. The Inertia Plus rotating bolt runs on a rollover torsion spring and cycles everything from light target loads to heavy waterfowl shells.

The 28" barrel is deep bore drilled with a lengthened forcing cone, sitting on a bronze Cerakote aluminum slope back receiver. Mossy Oak Bottomland covers the stock and forend. Six extended chokes come in the case, cylinder through full plus a waterfowl long range tube, and the 12 gauge receiver is drilled and tapped for a rail. A single fiber optic bead marks the rib. Length of pull is 14.5" and the shim kit lets you set drop and cast rather than adapting to the gun. The oversized safety button can be moved to the other side for left hand shooters, the trigger group unseats with a single button, and magazine capacity is 3 rounds. Weight is 7 lbs 4 oz.
