Retay ACE 12 GA 26" 3rd Bronze Mossy Oak Bottomland Shotgun

A 3.5" chamber on an inertia gun is a real test of the action, because the same spring has to handle a heavy goose load and then a lighter target shell without complaint. Retay's answer is the Inertia Plus rotating bolt, which swaps the usual plunger spring for a rollover torsion spring and gives the system a wider working range. The 26" barrel keeps the gun short enough to swing in a blind or a pit without catching on the walls.

The barrel is deep bore drilled and straight, with a forcing cone lengthened at the factory so shot columns are not slammed on their way out. Six extended chokes come with the gun: cylinder, improved cylinder, modified, improved modified, full and a waterfowl long range tube. The receiver on the 12 gauge is drilled and tapped, so a rail and an optic are an option if you shoot turkeys with it. Bronze Cerakote covers the metal, Mossy Oak Bottomland covers the furniture, and a single fiber optic bead sits on the rib. Weight is 7 lbs 4 oz, length of pull is 14.5" with a shim kit for drop and cast, the safety reverses for left hand shooters, and a button releases the trigger group for cleaning. Magazine capacity is 3 rounds.
