Remington took the Core-Lokt bullet that has been killing deer since 1939 and rebuilt it for revolver velocities. That is the whole point here: a rifle bullet driven at 840 fps will not open, so the 237gr hollow point is tuned to expand from a pistol length barrel. The heavy midsection of the jacket locks to the core, so the bullet mushrooms wide and still holds its weight through a shoulder.

Cases are nickel plated, which helps them slide out of a hot cylinder and resist corrosion in a belt loop over a long season. This is a 20rd box aimed at handgun hunters chasing whitetail, hogs and black bear inside sensible range.
