CCI Pest Control for 45 Colt carries 150gr of #9 shot in a rigid plastic capsule that breaks apart on the rifling. From a revolver it throws a pattern that makes close range hits on snakes and rodents far easier than a single bullet.

Do not fire these through ported barrels or compensators, and do not reload the cases. Cylinder lock up may occur in light weight revolvers from capsule movement under recoil. Residue comes out with normal cleaning.
