Remington 1816 Precision Double Over Under, 12 Gauge, 30 inch, Engraved Walnut

The Remington 1816 Precision Double O/U Comp Shotgun delivers a blend of traditional craftsmanship and competition-ready features, with Remington's 1816 series honoring nearly two centuries of shotgun heritage while focusing on modern performance for clay target shooters and upland hunters; chambered for 12 gauge with a 3" chamber and a 30" engraved chrome-lined barrel, the over/under action offers predictable swing and balance that help you track targets for trap, skeet, and sporting clays, while the engraved receiver and high-grade walnut stock with adjustable comb provide a comfortable, repeatable cheek weld tailored to different loads and optics setups – the adjustable comb is particularly useful when switching between clay loads and hunting loads to maintain consistent sighting plane. The Precision Double O/U Comp's 30" barrels fall in the longer barrel range favored by competitive shooters seeking extended sighting radius and smoother follow-through, and the case-ready presentation makes transport and storage straightforward for season travel and events. As this is a regulated firearm, an FFL transfer is required for purchase; the model's combination of balance, finish, and competition-oriented ergonomics makes it an attractive choice for shooters who want a high-quality Remington over/under for club competition, range practice, or field use.
