RCBS 1776 Commemorative 223 Rem Full Length Die Set

RCBS put together a limited run of its full length sizing die sets covering cartridges that have served in American military rifles and pistols over the last 250 years, and 223 Rem is one of them. The dies themselves are the time tested RCBS full length pattern, the same tooling handloaders have run on single stage and progressive presses for decades, sizing a fired case back to specification so it chambers in any rifle and not just the one it came out of.

What separates this run is the packaging. Each set comes in a commemorative wooden box carrying the 250th anniversary logos, with the dies still inside the conventional plastic die box so the plastic case can go on the shelf for storage while the wooden box stays out on display. The 223 Remington earns its place in the series through the AR-15 and the service rifle competition line that grew up around it.
