About the Q Boombox 8.6 Blackout
The Boombox is Q's direct impingement semi auto built around 8.6 Blackout, the big bore subsonic cartridge Q designed for suppressed hunting. This braced pistol runs a 12" stainless steel barrel with a bead blasted finish and a tapered shoulder muzzle carrying the XL Cherry Bomb muzzle device. An adjustable gas block lets you tune the system for supersonic loads, heavy subsonics or shooting with a can, which matters a lot on a short barreled 8.6.
The upper and lower are billet aluminum with no forward assist, topped with a Picatinny rail and a Q-Sert M-LOK handguard for lights, lasers and grips. It feeds from SR-25 pattern magazines and comes with one 20 round magazine plus a pistol brace. Controls follow AR layout with an ambidextrous safety, so anyone who has run an AR is right at home. For hog control, deer inside a couple hundred yards or a compact suppressor host, this is one of the few factory guns set up for 8.6 Blackout from the start.
