PROOF Research PXT .264 20" Sendero Light Carbon Fiber Barrel Blank

This is unfinished stock for a custom rifle. The bore is rifled, the rest is not: a gunsmith cuts it to length, chambers it, threads the muzzle and fits it to the action you are building on.

Twenty inches of .264 bore in the Sendero Light profile gives a gunsmith room to chamber a 6.5 PRC or a 6.5 Creedmoor and still finish long enough to get full velocity, without ending up with a rifle that only ever leaves the truck for a bench. Carbon fiber over thin, match grade steel keeps it stiff and sheds heat between strings. PXT rifling eases the bullet into the lands with a progressive twist that slows throat erosion.
