Sendero Light is the slimmer of PROOF's two Sendero profiles, and in a .264 bore at 18" it is aimed squarely at a mountain rifle. The carbon fiber wrap does the work a heavier steel contour would normally do, holding the barrel straight as it heats without the mass that makes a rifle miserable to pack. PXT rifling ramps the twist up gradually from the breech, which reduces engraving force and stretches throat life.
