PROOF Research PR15 PXT 6mm ARC 20" Carbon Fiber Barrel

The 20" version is for shooters who want every bit of velocity 6mm ARC has, usually for steel past 800 yards or for varmints at distances where wind call beats everything else. Longer barrel, more powder burned, flatter trajectory, and because the tube is carbon wrapped rather than solid steel, the rifle does not end up muzzle heavy.

Underneath the carbon is match grade steel, turned to a slim profile. The wrap adds stiffness and pulls heat out of the steel quickly. PXT progressive rifling starts nearly straight at the breech and accelerates through the bore, which softens the transition into the lands and slows the throat erosion that limits how long a 6mm shoots small groups.
