Proof Research AR-Style Barrel 300 Blackout 12.5 Gas 1:7 5/8-24 Stainless

The Proof Research 100530 AR-Style Barrel for 300 Blackout pairs precision engineering with practical performance, delivering a 12.50" pistol-length gas system, a 1:7" twist, 5 grooves, and 5/8"-24 TPI stainless steel construction to maximize reliability and accuracy in high-performance cartridges. Designed around Proof's Caliber Matched Gas System, this barrel tunes gas port location to match the cartridge and barrel length, preserving the AR platform's intended recoil impulse while reducing fouling in the receiver and improving extraction reliability. The result is steadier shot placement, smoother handling, and extended wear life for brass as you push into advanced calibers like the 300 Blackout, enabling you to stay on target with consistent performance. By aligning bore pressure and gas dynamics with contemporary, high-performance loads, Proof Research enhances durability and consistency across shoots, ensuring you can harness the benefits of modern ammunition without compromising the AR's familiar ergonomics and reliability. This barrel is a versatile upgrade for builders and shooters seeking a balanced blend of precision, smooth operation, and enduring accuracy in a compact, stainless package.
