Proof Research Carbon Fiber Drop In AR 15 Barrel 14.5 Inch Mid Length 223 Wylde

The Proof Research PR15 .223 Wylde Carbon Fiber Drop-in Barrel for AR-15 Mid Length 14.5" 1:7 1/2-28 Thread delivers a lighter, stiffer, and more durable option that upgrades accuracy and reduces weight without sacrificing reliability. Built from full profile match-grade 416R stainless steel blanks, this barrel is precision turned to remove excess mass, then wrapped in aerospace-grade carbon fiber to provide exceptional strength and stiffness. The result is a rifle barrel that reshapes performance, offering improved thermal stability and reduced harmonics for tighter shot groups across rapid strings. Designed for .223 Wylde chambers, it ensures reliable feeding and accurate bullet trajectories with standard AR-15 platforms, while the mid-length gas system balance and 14.5" length optimize impulse and handguard clearance for a natural, controllable feel. Whether you're dialing in precision performance at the range or enhancing field versatility, Proof Research's carbon fiber technology preserves the ballistic potential of your load while delivering a noticeably lighter rifle platform. This drop-in option aligns with modern builds that demand durability, consistency, and enhanced on-target performance.
