About this product
A short, light .224 barrel blank from Proof Research for a custom bolt action. It is 16.5" in the Sendero contour with a 1:8 twist, and it comes unchambered for your gunsmith to fit, chamber and thread. The breech section is 2.5" long with a 1.20" shank diameter.
Wrapped in carbon fiber, the blank weighs about 2.5 lbs, which makes it a good starting point for a handy varmint or suppressed 22 caliber build.
