Pro-Shot 50 Caliber Black Powder Bore Brush

Black powder leaves a bore full of hard crusty fouling that patches will not lift on their own. Bronze bristles on a solid brass core cut through it, and the heavy fill keeps those bristles pressed into the rifling on every stroke rather than riding down the middle of the bore.

The core is wound through the coupling instead of crimped, so the brush will not pull apart when you reverse direction in the barrel, which is exactly where cheap brushes come apart. Note the thread: 10-32, the muzzleloader ramrod standard. It will not screw onto a conventional 8-32 cleaning rod. Sized for 50 caliber bores.
