Primary Arms CLx Enclosed Reflex Sight

An enclosed reflex sight seals the emitter and the lens inside a single housing, which removes the biggest weakness of an open design: nothing can settle in front of the emitter and block the dot. Rain, snow, holster lint, and everyday carry grime all stay outside the optical path, so the dot you saw on the range is the dot that is there when you need it in bad conditions.

The tradeoff for a sealed body is a slightly taller housing, and what you get back is a window that stays clean and a sight that shrugs off weather. It works on a pistol slide cut for it, on a pistol caliber carbine, or on a shotgun where debris is a constant problem. Shooting it is the same as any reflex sight, both eyes open with the dot floating on the target, just with less to worry about when the weather turns.
