Patriot Ordnance Factory P-15 Base SMU 300 BLK 13.75" 30rd Rifle

POF built the P-15 Base SMU around 300 BLK, which is the cartridge the short barreled AR was waiting for. The 13.75" E2 match grade barrel is the right length for the round - 300 BLK burns its powder fast, so cutting the barrel down costs almost nothing in velocity while making the rifle far handier in a doorway or out of a truck. A Dead Air KeyMo brake is pinned and welded to the muzzle, which brings the overall barrel length to 16.1" and keeps the rifle out of NFA territory while leaving a KeyMo mounting surface ready for a suppressor.

Inside, POF runs a direct impingement bolt carrier group with their patented roller cam pin, which rolls instead of dragging across the carrier and cuts down on the friction that wears an AR from the inside. The buffer tube is an anti tilt design on a 6 position stock. Upper and lower are anodized aluminum, and the lower has a flared magwell that makes reloads under pressure a lot more forgiving. A 13" M-LOK handguard leaves plenty of room for a light and a hand stop, and Amend2 supplies the adjustable stock and grip. Thirty rounds on board.
