Panzer Arms Jaeger 12 Tactical 12 GA 18.5" Disruptive Grey Shotgun

The Jaeger 12 Tactical takes the over under layout out of the sporting clays world and shortens it for close work. Two 18.5" barrels sit stacked on a break open receiver, both chambered for 3" shells. There is no magazine tube to load and no action to cycle, so the gun is short, narrow and about as simple as a shotgun gets. Two rounds are ready to go, and reloading takes one motion.

Panzer builds it on a Turkish walnut stock with a matching walnut M-LOK forend, so a light or a sling mounts without adapters. The Disruptive Grey treatment on the wood is a departure from the usual oiled brown and is the fastest way to tell this model from the rest of the Jaeger line. Five interchangeable choke tubes and a wrench are included, which lets the same gun run cylinder for defensive buckshot or a tighter constriction for birds. Weight is around 7 pounds. Opening the action gives a positive visual check on both chambers every time, and for a truck gun or a bedside shotgun that simplicity is the whole point.
