About the NcStar SPD Solar FlipDot
The VISM SPD Solar FlipDot runs on two power sources. Solar cells on top light the red dot automatically whenever there is enough sun, and an onboard CR2032 battery takes over indoors or at night. A red LED next to the solar cells shows when the battery is doing the work, and side + and - buttons turn the dot on and set brightness in battery mode.
The 30mm reflex lens folds flat against the body when stowed and pops up with a press of either ambidextrous side lever. The 2 MOA dot is unmagnified. It sits on NcStar's KPM modular mount: a quick release Picatinny clamp that comes off to expose a KeyMod and M-LOK base, with a KeyMod shoe and M-LOK compatible T-nut included. The body is aluminum and measures 3.5 x 2.5 x 2.2 inches.
