The Mossberg Patriot Carbine in 450 Bushmaster is built for hunters in straight-wall cartridge states and anyone who wants a hard-hitting, compact bolt gun for whitetail, hogs, or bear. The 18" bull-profile threaded barrel delivers velocity close to a longer tube in the stubby 450 Bushmaster round while keeping overall length short for stand and blind work. Factory threading takes either a muzzle brake for recoil management or a suppressor for a serious quiet thumper. Multicam Brown Cerakote covers the barrel, action, and stock for weather resistance and a subdued field-ready look.
The Patriot action is a push-feed bolt with two lugs and a spiral-fluted bolt body that reduces weight and gives dirt somewhere to go. Trigger is Mossberg's LBA user-adjustable unit, tunable from roughly 2 to 7 pounds without gunsmithing. The synthetic stock has a soft rubber recoil pad, sling swivel studs, and a streamlined profile that indexes naturally for off-hand shots. Capacity runs four rounds in a detachable box magazine. Drilled and tapped receiver accepts Weaver-pattern scope bases, and the factory finish holds up to hard-use hunting conditions.
