Midwest Industries AR-15 Upper Receiver Rod

The Midwest Industries Upper Receiver Rod locks into the barrel extension so torque goes into the rod instead of the upper. It takes the fight out of stubborn or seized barrel nuts and lets you install muzzle devices without stressing the index pin. Clamp it horizontally or vertically in a bench vise.

It fits any standard M4/M16 barrel extension in forged or billet uppers, and receiver mounted sights can stay on. It also helps install the forward assist and port door. It does not fit 9mm or rimfire barrels, DPMS G2 308 or Sig MCX Virtus/Rattler.
