Maxim Defense Pdx Upper 5.56 5.5in Arid Urg HATEBRAKE Ar Rifles

The Maxim Defense Maxim Pdx Upper 5.56 5.5" Arid U.R.G. combines a direct impingement upper with the newly invented Maxim HATEBRAKE muzzle booster to deliver significantly reduced recoil, a lowered flash signature, and gas and concussion management that push blast and noise downrange away from the operator for improved control and execution in short-barrel pistols and rifles. This optimized Personal Defense Weapon Upper weighs 4 lbs, measures 14 inches overall, and features a 5.5-inch 5.56 NATO barrel with 5/8-24 muzzle threads finished in Arid Earth Type-III hard anodizing. The HATEBRAKE is installed under the handguard, complemented by an M-slot compatible handguard, HK height rail, and rugged military-grade materials including 6Al-4V titanium, 17-4 stainless steel, 7075, and 6061 aluminum, ensuring durability under demanding field conditions. Designed to work with any Mil-Spec lower receiver, it supports Maxim Mil-Spec BCG or PDX/SCW compatible BCGs for reliable function. The PDX U.R.G. upper emphasizes reliable performance with reduced sound and flash, making it a versatile, high-performance option for AR rifles and other Mil-Spec builds seeking enhanced control and precision in compact configurations.
