Maxim Defense PDX SCW 300 BLK 5.5" 20rd FDE Pistol

This Maxim Defense PDX is the 300 BLK version in the Arid FDE finish, with a 5.5" barrel and an overall length of only 18.75". Maxim built the PDX for the SOCOM PDW requirement, and 300 Blackout is a natural match for it: the cartridge was designed to work from short barrels and runs quietly under a suppressor. The muzzle is threaded 5/8-24, and the HATEBRAKE muzzle booster tucked under the handguard cuts recoil and flash and throws the blast forward.

The SCW pistol brace is the core of the design. It is a 4" system with the bolt carrier integrated into it and swappable buffer weights for tuning. Up top is an HK height rail for optics, the free float handguard is M-LOK compatible, and the barrel is fully floated with a 2 MOA accuracy rating. Controls include an ALG Combat Trigger, Radian charging handle and selector, a manual safety and an ambidextrous controls. It runs on a direct impingement gas system and feeds from a 20 round magazine. A strong choice as a suppressor host for anyone who wants the shortest practical 300 BLK package.
