Maxim Defense PDX SCW 300 BLK 5.5" 20rd Pistol

The black anodized PDX in 300 BLK is Maxim Defense's answer to a very short, hard hitting AR pistol. It has a 5.5" barrel threaded 5/8-24, an overall length of 18.75", and a 20 round magazine. Out front, the HATEBRAKE muzzle booster is installed under the handguard where it reduces recoil and flash and redirects the concussion downrange. 300 Blackout keeps much more of its energy from a barrel this short than 5.56 does, and it is the caliber to pick if a suppressor is in the plan.

Behind the receiver is the Maxim SCW pistol brace, a 4" system with an integrated bolt carrier and interchangeable buffer weights. The upper has an HK height Picatinny rail, the handguard is free floated with M-LOK slots, and Maxim rates the barrel at 2 MOA. You get an ALG Combat Trigger, Radian charging handle and selector, manual safety and ambidextrous controls, with a polymer grip on an aluminum receiver. The gas system is direct impingement, and it weighs 5 lbs 11 oz empty. It fits in a backpack, a vehicle or a small safe.
