The REPR MKII earns its Rapid Engagement name by pairing bolt gun accuracy with gas gun speed. LWRC chambers this version in 6.5 Creedmoor behind a 20" fluted barrel and finishes the metalwork in Patriot Brown, a warm earth tone that photographs somewhere between chocolate and bronze. The left side charging handle is the platform's calling card — the bolt can be run without the shooter breaking position or fishing for a rear charging handle, which matters when a target is about to walk out of view.
Under the handguard sits LWRC's short stroke piston system, a cleaner running alternative to direct impingement that shrugs off hard use and suppressed fire alike. The receiver set is machined from aluminum with a rigid one piece upper and rail, and every control has a mirror on the opposite side for left handed shooters. Feeding from standard large frame AR magazines, the rifle covers precision match stages, hog fields, and overwatch duty with the same zero. It is a lot of gun, built the way LWRC builds everything: heavier on machining than on marketing.
