About the LWRC IC 5.56 NATO
The LWRC IC lower is the same fully ambidextrous lower used on the company's Individual Carbine rifles, sold complete and ready to mate with an upper. The magazine release and bolt catch work from both sides, so you never have to shift your grip to run the gun. LWRC machines an enhanced, flared magwell directly into the receiver for faster reloads, and an enlarged winter style trigger guard leaves room for gloved fingers.
Inside is LWRC's Enhanced Fire Control Group with a nickel boron single stage trigger for a smooth pull, and the buffer system uses an H2 buffer. It comes with a rubber pistol grip and the LWRC carbine stock installed. The lower is compatible with mil spec AR-15 parts, so you can pair it with an LWRC IC upper or another AR-15 upper in 5.56 NATO. It is a clean starting point for a build or a straight swap onto a rifle you already own.
