About this product
The UIC stripped lower from American Defense Manufacturing is machined from billet aluminum on the AR-15 pattern and comes with ADM's own ambidextrous controls already installed. A proprietary ambidextrous magazine release and an ambidextrous bolt catch and release lever let you drop a magazine or lock and release the bolt from either side, so left and right hand shooters run the gun the same way. The takedown and pivot pins are dimpled, and a mil-spec magazine release assembly is installed too.
The magazine well is a 20 degree competition style well for faster reloads. The receiver wears a black Teflon impregnated hardcoat anodized finish that holds up to bench and range wear. It is a 5.56 NATO lower sold stripped, so the trigger group, grip, buffer tube and stock are yours to pick. A good starting point for a full ambi build without bolting on aftermarket levers.
