LWRC IC-DI 300 BLK 16.1" 30rd Brown Rifle

LWRC made its name on piston guns, then built the IC-DI for shooters who wanted the same receiver set and the same quality control at a direct impingement price. This one is chambered in 300 BLK with a 16.1 inch barrel and a brown finish. The 300 BLK is the cartridge the AR-15 platform should have had from the start for short range work: it uses standard magazines and standard bolts, drops a heavy 30 caliber bullet, and it is at its best behind a suppressor with subsonic loads.

The upper and lower are LWRC's own, machined to fit tightly, with the monolithic style handguard the company is known for. The M-LOK rail gives a clean mounting surface for lights, a hand stop and a sling point without adding rail sections you do not use. It feeds from a standard 30 round magazine and runs the familiar AR-15 controls, so anyone who has spent time behind a carbine will pick it up immediately. Direct impingement keeps the reciprocating mass low and the gun shooting flat, and it makes the rifle easier to work on than a piston gun when it comes time for a deep cleaning.
