A complete A1 ejection port cover assembly, meaning the cover, the stainless rod, the spring and the retaining C clip all arrive together instead of getting hunted down one piece at a time. The clip comes already on the rod.
The A1 profile is the smooth, unribbed cover used on early AR-15 uppers, so this is the part for a retro build or for any 5.56 upper whose old cover no longer snaps shut. Installation is the standard rod and clip routine with no permanent change to the receiver.
