Leupold's Patrol 6HD Gen 2 is a 1-6x24mm LPVO set up the way duty carbines actually get used. The illuminated CM-R2 reticle in the second focal plane keeps a consistent, fast reticle picture at every power: dot and circle for close work at 1x, holds for stretching a 5.56 out when six power is dialed in.
The CDS-ZL2 elevation dial adds a zero lock so the setting you left is the setting you find. A 30mm main tube and Leupold's housing durability record round out a scope meant to be dropped, banged off door frames, and trusted anyway.
