About the Knight's Armament SR-25 Precision
The Knight's Armament SR-25 Precision Carbine is a 308 Win semi auto rifle built for two jobs: putting rounds on target past 800 meters and running fast at close range. The 16" 5R cut barrel has a 1:10 twist, and KAC gave the barrel and bolt enough life to handle the training it takes to master both kinds of shooting. It feeds from 20rd magazines and weighs 9 lbs.
The bolt release, selector and magazine release are all ambidextrous. Left handed shooters get the same AR15 style controls right handers use, and right handers get a second way to run the gun. The drop in two stage match trigger helps on careful long range shots without slowing down quick strings up close. At the muzzle, a 7.62 QDC flash suppressor cuts flash and ground disturbance and accepts KAC QDC signature reduction devices. The receiver is aluminum, and the adjustable stock sets overall length anywhere from 35.75" to 39.5".
