Kimber 1911 Next Gen Pro 9mm 4" 9rd Stainless Pistol

Kimber's Next Generation 1911 in an all matte stainless dress, slide and frame both. The Pro length configuration puts a 4" bull barrel on a full size frame, so the pistol carries shorter without changing how it fills your hand. The barrel is crowned and bushingless, which removes a part that wears and helps the gun return to the same point of impact shot after shot.

The external extractor is the change that matters most on a modern 1911, since the internal version is a spring steel part that eventually wants attention from a gunsmith. Kimber also fits an ambidextrous thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety and a match grade trigger, then cuts the slide for a red dot and includes an RMR pattern adapter plate. Front strap checkering runs 32 lines per inch and the heel is rounded so the butt does not print through a cover garment. Black walnut G10 grips sit against the stainless for contrast. Two nine round magazines in 9mm come with it, and the whole pistol is hand fitted the way Kimber has been building 1911s for decades.
