About the Rio Texas Game Load
Rio packs its high velocity Texas Game Load in a special edition Texas themed camo box, a nod to the company's US headquarters in the Lone Star State. Inside are 25rd of high brass 2.75" 12 gauge shells, each loaded with 1-1/4oz of #8 lead shot at 1340 fps.
Number 8 shot is sized for doves and other small, fast birds, where pattern density counts more than pellet weight. Rio loads these with its own components for even patterns from shell to shell, and the hulls are blue.
