About this product
The KelTec SUB2000 Gen3 Defender is the 10mm Auto version of KelTec's folding carbine, set up out of the box with a Vortex Crossfire red dot and a Magpul angled foregrip. It takes Glock 20 magazines, and the package includes two 15 round magazines. The 16.15 inch threaded barrel gets more velocity out of the 10mm cartridge than a handgun barrel does.
The Gen3 rotating forend lets the carbine fold in half with the red dot still mounted. The M-LOK handguard takes lights and grips, adjustable sights ride along as a backup, and the action is a simple blowback design. It weighs about 5.6 pounds unloaded and folds to 16.15 inches, short enough for a backpack, truck console or boat bag. Buying the Defender saves hunting down an optic and grip separately, and running the same magazines as a Glock 20 on your hip keeps the ammo plan simple. The finish is black throughout.
