iota Outdoors is the stock making arm of the Horizon Firearms family, and the Venatic Carbon 2 is the house rifle that shows off what the group can do. The spec sheet reads like a custom build ticket: a Proof Research carbon fiber threaded barrel at 22", a Black Shadow finished receiver with a Picatinny rail up top, an Arca rail forend for tripod and bipod work, and an iota EKO carbon fiber stock finished in Ember Drift. Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor and feeding from a 5rd magazine, it is a legitimate crossover rifle — light enough to hunt hard, stable enough to ring steel at distance.
The Proof barrel is the headline. Carbon fiber wrapping lets a barrel run a stiffer contour at a fraction of the weight of solid steel, and it sheds heat quickly enough to keep groups honest through a long shot string. Threaded at the muzzle, it takes a brake or a suppressor without a trip to a gunsmith. The Arca forend rides straight into a tripod clamp, which backcountry hunters who glass from ridgelines will put to use on day one.
