Inland I-CAN 45 Cal Direct Thread Suppressor

The I-CAN is Inland's 45 caliber can. The tube is aluminum with a black anodized finish and it measures 6 inches long. Aluminum is the light option for a pistol can, and weight matters more at the muzzle of a handgun than almost anywhere else on a gun: it changes how the pistol points, how it returns from recoil and how the action cycles.

The base is .578x28 direct thread, so it threads onto a 45 barrel with nothing in between. Direct thread keeps the whole setup simple and short. Thread it on, shoot, take it off. Anodized aluminum is not the material to reach for on a rifle can that lives hot, but on a 45 host it keeps the package light and the finish holds up to handling. A 6 inch can is about the length most 45 pistol cans land on, so nothing here is unusual to holster around or shoot over a red dot.
