223 Remington in a Mini Action is the pairing the receiver was built for. Howa sized this action to the 223 case instead of shortening a standard action, so the rifle carries less steel, the bolt throw is shorter, and the whole gun comes up faster on a moving target. The Fence Line takes that action and hangs a 20" heavy contour barrel on it with a radial brake at the muzzle, which holds the rifle steady through the shot instead of letting it bounce off target.

The stock is a pillar bedded synthetic in Scorched Earth camo over a bronze receiver, a combination meant to disappear against dry ground. Howa guarantees sub MOA accuracy with premium factory ammunition, backed by a hammer forged barrel.
