Howa M1500 Fence Line 223 Rem 22" Scorched Earth Camo Rifle

This is the standard action version of the Fence Line in 223 Rem, built on the full size Howa 1500 barreled action rather than the smaller Mini Action receiver. The 22" barrel is hammer forged, threaded at the muzzle, and comes with a brake installed, and the whole barreled action wears a bronze finish against a Scorched Earth camo stock.

A 223 in a bolt gun is an underrated combination. Recoil is close to nonexistent, barrel life is long, and a good one will shoot small groups all afternoon over a prairie dog town without beating you up. Howa guarantees 1 inch groups at 100 yards with match ammunition, and the HACT two stage trigger gives you the light take up and clean break needed to hold that standard. The action itself is the same one that has anchored a lot of custom builds: a 90 degree bolt throw that clears a low mounted scope, dual locking lugs, a spring loaded M16 style extractor, and a three position safety that lets you unload with the striker blocked. The HTI synthetic stock is pillar bedded, and the threaded muzzle is ready for a suppressor when you are.
