223 Rem and the Prairie Reaper pattern make an obvious pair. The Prairie Reaper camo covers the stock and breaks the rifle up against dry grass, sage and stubble instead of drawing a hard black line across the horizon. That is the whole argument for a patterned stock on a rifle that spends its working life sitting still in the open while something with very good eyes walks in. Hang a scope and a bipod on it and you have a complete predator rig without much fuss or much weight to carry between stands.
