Howa M1500 Fence Line 22-250 Rem 22" Prairie Reaper Camo Rifle

Prairie Reaper is the camo pattern and 22-250 Rem is exactly the cartridge it was named for. This is a flat shooting varmint and predator rifle: fast bullets, very little recoil, and enough reach to work the far side of a hayfield. Howa builds it on the 1500 barreled action with a hammer forged 22" barrel.

Howa guarantees that action to 1 inch or better at 100 yards, which is the number that matters when the target is a coyote chest at an awkward distance. The bolt runs a 90 degree lift on dual locking lugs with a spring loaded M16 style extractor, the HACT trigger is a two stage with a defined wall and a clean break, and the three position safety lets you unload with the safety engaged or lock the bolt down for the drive home. The Prairie Reaper stock pattern breaks up the outline of the rifle in dry grass and stubble, which is precisely where this cartridge does the bulk of its work. Add glass and a bipod and it is finished.
