7mm Backcountry is the newest chambering in the Venatic 2 lineup and the most ambitious. Federal developed the cartridge around a stronger case that runs at higher pressure than traditional brass allows, and the practical result is speed that used to demand a long magnum barrel now coming out of handier rifles. Horizon Firearms pairs it with a 22" spiral fluted barrel, carrying muzzle threads and Sage Green over a black receiver wearing a Picatinny rail.
