Horizon Firearms Venatic 2 22 Creedmoor 22" Sage Green Rifle

This is the long barrel version of Horizon's Venatic 2 in 22 Creedmoor, and the extra length is the point: the cartridge burns enough powder to reward a full 22" tube with serious velocity, stretching an already flat trajectory even flatter. The barrel is spiral fluted and muzzle threaded, finished in Sage Green over a black receiver. Riding underneath is an iota EKO X carbon fiber stock in Arctic Moss with an Arca rail machined into the forend.

Think of this configuration as a beanfield and prairie gun: set up over a tripod or bipod, ranging distant targets, and letting the 22 Creedmoor's speed do the math on holdover while the shooter concentrates on wind. Carbon fiber keeps the weight from creeping despite the longer barrel, and the Picatinny rail accepts the large objective scopes this kind of shooting favors. Prairie dog towns, called coyotes that hang up at four hundred yards, steel plates a county away — it is a specialized rifle that does its one job exceptionally well, wrapped in furniture most shops would call an upgrade.
