Horizon Firearms Vandal DM 25 Creedmoor 22" Rifle

Of the Vandal DM builds, this is the one aimed squarely at distance - 25 Creedmoor behind 22 inches of spiral fluted steel. The fluting cuts weight out of a barrel that would otherwise be nose heavy at that length, the black chrome finish covers it, and the muzzle is threaded so a brake or a can goes on without a gunsmith.

Underneath, the rifle is an XLR Element 4.0 chassis in black anodized aluminum. An ARCA rail on the forend lets a tripod head or a bag rider clamp on directly instead of hanging off a sling stud, and the black chrome receiver carries a picatinny rail for the scope. Horizon calls the DM its first chassis rifle and pitched it at shooters moving into precision competition. The 25 Creedmoor chambering is a deliberate choice for that job - it runs high ballistic coefficient quarter bore bullets at a good turn of speed without the recoil climbing to where it interferes with spotting impacts.
